Retailers Continue to Slash Prices on iPhone 4/4S Ahead of ‘iPhone 5’ Launch

As the announcement of Apple’s next iPhone draws nearer, AllThingsD reports that more retailers are slashing their prices on the iPhone 4 and 4S. Following Sprint’s move to slash prices earlier this month, Target and Best Buy have now also significantly reduced their prices.

While Sprint offers the iPhone 4S at a $50 discount, Target has reduced their prices on both AT&T and Verizon models by $20, and Best Buy has cut their iPhone 4 pricing by half, offering the device at just $50. As we previously noted, Apple is also matching those discounted prices.

If you’re looking to grab a new iPhone, and don’t plan on upgrading to the 4S, now would be a great time to snag some deals! Apple’s next iPhone is expected to be announced on September 12.
