A new set of leaked images of Apple’s next iPhone (posted by Nowhereelse.fr, via iMore) show the device fully assembled and placed directly next to the iPhone 4S, as well as the iPhone 3GS. The images really show off how incredible thin the ‘iPhone 5’ looks like compared to its predecessor.
We also see a nice height comparison, showing that the next-gen iPhone is taller than the iPhone 4S, but not dramatically taller – seemingly unlikely to have an effect on the ability to use the device one-handed.
These are the best comparison images that have surfaced so far, and do well in providing a fairly complete idea of what to expect from Apple’s next iPhone, visually speaking. It’s remarkable how thin the device appears next to its predecessors!
As always, it’s not certain that these images are authentic – but they do line up with previous rumors and leaks.
Apple’s next iPhone is rumored to feature a taller 4-inch screen, thinner design, and a two-tone metal rear casing, as well as a smaller dock connector, relocated FaceTime camera, and LTE support, among other things. For all the latest details, check out our iPhone 5 rumor roundup!
