Announced at WWDC in June, Apple has now started selling the Thunderbolt to Firewire adapter in its online store, after the Gigabit Ethernet adapter went on sale several weeks ago.
Priced at $29 and designed with the new Thunderbolt packed Macs in mind, it’s a neat accessory, especially if you have, for example, a Firewire external hard drive.
It shows as shipping in 1-3 business days, which is faster than other locations, with the UK and France having a 5-7 day delay.
If you fancy some Firewire goodness, then you can pick up one here via Apple’s online store. We should also expect them to arrive in store sooner rather than later – who knows, it might have already happened.
