Apple Releases Remote Desktop Admin 3.6.1

Apple’s server products are ignored and forgotten, but they shouldn’t be. It makes some great software for managing file servers and remote management, including Remote Desktop, which has just been update to version 3.6.1.

The update, which is compatible with Lion and Mountain Lion only, improves ‘overall stability and reliability’ as well as the following specifics:

  • Faster launch speed when long computer lists are present.
  • Reliability of migrated computer lists when upgrading from earlier versions of Apple Remote Desktop.
  • Improves observing and controlling computers that have more than one display.

You can download the update from Apple’s support section here. You can also get it via the Mac App Store if that’s where you purchased it from originally.
