All us geeks love a bit of retro gaming now and then, and Activision has brought back 45 of its greatest retro hits to create a blast from the past Activision Anthology for iPhone and iPad. The app is free but you only get one game included (KABOOM!), with the others available via in app purchases.

Other games include PITFALL, RIVER RAID, THE ACTIVISION® DECATHLON, BARNSTORMING™, STAMPEDE™, PITFALL II, ENDURO™ and DEMON ATTACK, with Game Center integration allowing to you to compete against your friends.

Whether you like retro gaming or not, it’s great value for money (all 45 games work out for less than 12 cents a game) and above all a great reminder or how games once were. You can download the game from the App Store here.
