Apple Finally Adds Hulu Plus Channel to Apple TV

While I have long enjoyed having and using the Apple TV, one feature has always stood out to me as missing, especially in comparison to other set-top boxes: The ability to stream content from Hulu Plus. This morning, Apple has changed all that.

According to a release we received this morning from Hulu (also mentioned on the Hulu Blog), Apple has now finally added a Hulu Plus channel to the Apple TV, granting users the ability to stream the site’s content at last. It’s worth noting that you may need to restart your Apple TV in order for the new channel to appear.

New users of Hulu Plus can subscribe directly from the Apple TV, with billing through their iTunes account, while new users can use their current login to access the service. Visit the Hulu Blog for more information and instructions.

Apple’s little “hobby” just got a whole lot better overnight!
