It’s nearly time for Apple’s annual World-Wide Developers Conference, with the anticipated keynote set to take place on the 11th of this month (that’s next Monday!), and the first WWDC banners are already beginning to go up to decorate Moscone Center for the event.
Apple doesn’t typically begin putting up their signage this early, but it’s kind of nice to get an early glimpse! The first banner to go up shows a number of app icons, including apps for Twitter and Facebook, suggesting they may be focal points discussed during the keynote (Facebook integration is expected to show up in iOS 6, after all).
WWDC is likely to be a pretty massive event this year – Apple is expected to discuss iOS 6 (complete with a new “mind-blowing” 3D Maps app), OS X Mountain Lion, several new Macs (including a new 15-inch MacBook Pro with a Retina display and new Mac Pros), and likely plenty of other things that we don’t yet know about!
With less that a week left to go, the anticipation rages on at full force as users of Apple products everywhere ponder what Apple may have up their sleeve for the event. Pictures of the banners can be found at MacStories, 9to5Mac, and MacRumors(pictured above, click to expand).
We’ll be tweeting updates from the event next Monday. In the meantime, we’ll keep you updated on the latest info as we hear it. Stay tuned!
