PowerMac G4s Find Second Use As Motorcycle Saddle Bags

PowerPC machines are largely being written off as out of date and pointless in 2012, even though I disagree. They can still serve many purposes, for example this one thought up by Rick H. from New Jersey, OS X Daily reports.

He has converted two PowerMac G4s (one MDD and one Quicksilver by the looks of things) to use as saddlebags and ingeniously attached them to his motorcycle, giving him that extra storage space with a cool Apple touch.

There have been some pretty cool Mac mods in the past including the Mac Pro/Powermac G5 aquarium and the Frankintosh (a Mac mini inside an Apple II), and this one is definitely up there alongside them. So Mac fans and motorcycle enthusiasts, this is your time to shine: I want to see those PowerMac saddle bags!
