You might have thought that because of their high price tag, the next gen Retina Macbook Pros unveiled at WWDC would have enough stock to last. Already, that’s proven not to be the case, with the shipping estimate having gone up to 2-3 weeks.
When Apple reopened its Apple Store yesterday, it was shown as 5-7 days, so it’s a considerable increase, especially considering that this isn’t an iPad – it’s a Macbook Pro and it costs over $2,000. That’s not just spare change, and clearly the appeal of a Retina display was too much for many to resist.
So if you want one and haven’t ordered one yet, it looks like you might be in for a bit of a wait, but I’ll sure it’ll be worth it.
