We showed you two iMac clones recently, both very impressive, Dell’s and another one from China. However it’s now time for Macbook Air clones to return to centre stage with the THD N2-A at the Computex expo, Engadget reports.
It’s another impressive attempt which runs Ice Cream Sandwich, but arguably the best part about one of these in the price point ($149 a piece when bought in bulk).
Some of the specs include an LED-backlit 1366 x 768 LCD, n LED-backlit 1366 x 768 LCD, 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor, 1 gig of DDR3 RAM and 8 gigs of SSD storage.
Clearly the build quality isn’t anywhere near as good as Apple’s but as Engadget points out, for the price, it isn’t bad (you can do much wrong). Your probably won’t see this in any US stores and the only way to order them is in bulk (500 for $74,500), so unless you have a store or lots of money, you probably won’t be able to find one.
