Following the initial jailbreak of iOS 6 beta 1, shortly after the firmware was released to developers on Monday, the iPhone Dev Team has now released the jailbreak to developers (via iDownloadBlog). The jailbreak is still experimental, however, and should only be used by jailbreak developers in order to test their apps.
Many jailbreak apps aren’t yet functional on iOS 6, so any non-developers who are running the iOS 6 beta are discouraged from applying the jailbreak. The tool only provides a tethered jailbreak, which requires the device to be hooked up to a computer each time it is rebooted, and requires a fourth generation iPod touch, an iPhone 3GS, or a GSM or CDMA-based iPhone 4.

Additionally, unlocked iPhones are NOT compatible with the exploit, and the jailbreak is at-your-own-risk, and should never be performed on your primary iOS device. Still, it’s a great way for developers to test their jailbreak apps, and a strong step towards having a public jailbreak ready when iOS 6 is released this fall.
RedSn0w 0.9.13dev1 jailbreak tool is available now directly from the iPhone Dev Team.
