The iPhone’s fifth birthday is coming right up (June 29), and it’s a pretty amazing thing to think back and see just how far Apple’s iconic smartphone has come! To celebrate the occasion, trade-in website Gazelle conducted a survey of over 1,000 customers to illustrate just how much the iPhone has changed the lives of consumers.
Among the survey’s more interesting findings are that the iPhone is considered more essential to users than Facebook, sex, coffee, and even showers (gross!). Unsurprisingly, the survey also found that the iPhone is replacing all sorts of gadgets in many households, with the biggest victims coming in as standalone MP3 players and cameras.
Gazelle also provided us with a nice infographic showing the highlights of the survey – whether they’re good or bad is your judgement to make! To learn more about the survey, check out Gazelle’s press release, or just check out the infographic below (click to expand)!
