Rovio has unleashed yet another update to Angry Birds Seasons, bringing 30 new levels of water-logged fun! The ‘Piglantis’ update is more unique than most, however, because Rovio has gone to great lengths to add fluid physics to the game, so motion is represented correctly underwater!
It’s this sort of attention to detail that makes Rovio’s games so damned impressive. Anybody can make a game that’s fun and addiction, but taking the time to add realistic physics is going the extra mile.
The new levels feature the typical bird-brained rage and structural damage that we’ve all come to expect from Angry Birds, but the water makes things a bit more interesting. The pigs sink, but the birds float, and when they hit the water, they’re launched back up into the air.
The update is available immediately for both iPhone ($0.99) and iPad ($1.99), and is available as a free update to those who already have the app.
