After the mishap which saw Siri recommend the Nokia Lumia 900 as the best smartphone ever, Apple has now fixed the issue, recovering Siri’s senses with a witty response, Apple Insider reports.
The problematic word was “ever”, as “What is the best smartphone?” returned responses like ‘The one you’re holding” without any issues. However with Apple’s fix everything is back to normal, with the possible response of ‘You’re kidding right?’ also added.
It’s also worth remembering that Siri is still a beta, so there will be mishaps like this that occur occasionally. It will probably take a while for Apple to eradicate all issues, but so far, they’ve done a pretty good job.
