3D technology is cool, and holographic displays are even cooler, but will we ever see this technology come to Apple’s iOS devices? The jury’s still out on that question. But in the meantime, we can still imagine what it would be like!
The above concept was created by designer Michael Ko (via DVICE), and shows how a holographic display might be on an iOS device, producing lifelike 3D objects that literally seem to protrude from the screen. The effect is practically magical!
Unfortunately, it’s very unlikely that we’ll see this from Apple (or anyone, at least for an affordable price) for some while. But hey – that’s what dreams are for, right?
