Back to the iFuture: Steve Jobs Introduces the First Apple Store in 2001 (Video)

Apple’s rise to glory over the years has been extremely impressive – few if any companies have experienced such dramatic success and rapid growth in such a short time. The last decade or so in particular has seen an especially magnificent boom for the company.

While many things are responsible for Apple’s success, including great products like the original iPod, the iPhone, and of course the Mac, one thing in particular has contributed immensely to Apple’s success since the turn of the 21st century: the Apple Store.

The brainchild of Steve Jobs and former Apple retail chief Ron Johnson, the Apple Store created a unique retail experience that simply hadn’t been offered before – and it has spread like wildfire ever since.

Check out the below video of Steve Jobs introducing and explaining the very first Apple Store!
