United Continental’s Chief Financial Officer Zane Rowe as joined Apple as VP of Sales, AllThingsD reports. Rowe had served as CFO and executive VP for United Continental, the holding company that owns United Airlines, since October 2010.
Apple spokesperson Steve Dowling:
We are thrilled that Zane Rowe will be joining us as one of our vice presidents of sales. He built a great team at United and we think he is going to do a fantastic job at Apple.
Going from being a CFO to a sales VP is quite a change, so good luck to him.
