If you’re already bored with Apple’s “normal” new iPad, and you happen to have chunk of extra cash, Gold & Co. has just the thing for you: an ultra fancy 24 karat gold version of Apple’s latest tablet with your name on it!
As IntoMobile notes, the gold luxury iPad will be available for $5499 (for the 64GB WiFi + 4G model), and will only be sold in stores in Dubai, London, and Hong Kong. Although if you have $5500 to spend on an iPad, there’s probably more where that came from, and I’m sure they’d ship you one if you ponied up enough cash!
For anyone that has enough cash to nab one of these, there’s really only one problem remaining: Where on earth are you going to find a diamond-studded sleeve made from fine imported silk to carry it in?
