Shazam has updated their popular Shazam Player app to version 1.5. The update brings the app universal, adding iPad support, and also includes Retina graphics for the new iPad, as well as improved display of on-screen lyrics.

The app was originally released on iPhone and iPod touch last month, providing an alternative to Apple’s own music app by adding sharing and discovery features, as well as automatically retrieving lyrics for most songs so you can follow along.
It also allows you to view YouTube videos and check out reviews and opinions on your favorite artists – a fantastic way to learn more about the music you listen to!
