Written by Former Apple Genius Stephen Hackett, Bartending: Memoirs of an Apple Genius is on the short side (less than 50 pages). Even so, it manages to provide one of the most authentic accounts of Apple’s retail stores – by focusing on real-life stories of one Apple Genius and the customers he helped.
It took me under an hour to read the entire book, and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in hearing about the real human experience of working in Apple Retail, and how it can affect the lives of not only the customers, but the employees themselves.
Bartending costs just $8.99, and is available through Amazon as a Kindle Book, or through Hackett’s website as an iBooks-friendly ePub (DRM free).
