After much anticipation, popular web reading platform Readability has hit the app store with a gorgeous new app for iPhone and iPad (free, App Store link). The app is designed to improve the readability of web articles, and to save them for reading later.
Readability turns any web page into a clean view for reading now or later on your computer, iPhone or iPad. With the Readability app, you can catch up reading what you’ve saved.
The app also provides the ability to save articles for later reading, and incorporates sharing features through Twitter, as well as various options for customizing the reading experience. Most of the app’s functions are completely free, although a paid subscription is also available which gives you access to a larger reading list with more than your most recent articles.
Even better, Readability is already integrated into many existing App Store apps, so you’ll be able to save articles from many news reading and other apps without ever having to leave the app that you’re currently using.
Readability is available immediately as a free universal app from the App Store (free, App Store link).
