First Hands-On Photos and Retina Screenshots From New iPad

After posting the first new iPad unboxing and benchmarks yesterday, Vietnamese website Tinhte.vn has gotten to know the device a little netter, and has now posted the first native screenshots from the new iPad, as well as the first hands-on photos from the 5 megapixel iSight camera.

Check out the below screenshot from iPhoto (click for full size, but I warn you – it is HUGE).

And check out this photo – one of a number of sample photos posted in a separate thread (click to expand).

And as the final shot of glory, check out this full size image of the new iPad’s Retina homescreen (click to expand)!

The 3rd Generation iPad is officially launching on March 16th at both Apple Stores and 3rd-party retail stores, and the first batch pre-orders should be landing on customers’ doorsteps that morning as well. We’ll let you know once we receive ours!
