Adobe announced the final version of Photoshop Lightroom 4 this morning for $149 (compared to $299 for Lightroom 3), and introduced a bunch of new features to appeal to both professional and amateur photographers alike, including video editing features.

The company released the first beta version of Lightroom 4 in January, and has been able to fix over 800 bugs through their beta program, which saw 250,000 downloads, and gained them valuable feedback from over 2700 photographers.
The final version features a slick new design, simpler editing controls, and significantly improved shadow and highlight controls. The video controls are also new. Lightroom can now catalog video clips alongside images, and has gained basic video editing features such as the ability to trim and adjust clips, as well as exporting stills. an
