QuickPix Lets You Snap Photos While Recording Video on iPhone and iPad

A clever new app called QuickPix ($1.99, App Store link) has hit the App Store, allowing users to take photos while simultaneously recording video on an iOS device – something I’ve often wished I could do when capturing a moment.

The app features two main buttons to control video recording and snapshots, and both pictures and video are automatically added to your device’s camera roll to view on your device or sync to your Mac or PC.

Even better – the photos snapped through QuickPix while recording videos are captured in full resolution – not just the resolution of the video you’re recording. Amazing.

QuickPix is available now from the App Store as a universal app for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch ($1.99, App Store link).
