Apple’s new store at Grand Central Terminal in New York has meant that nearby businesses have seen a growth in their profits, MacGeneration reports. Apple pay much less rent than the other stores do, but this gamble MTA (the company responsible for commerce at the station) took seems to have paid off.
One nearby restaurant climbed that it had seen a 7% rise in its figures since the arrival of the Apple Store, and figures like these certainly look promising for the future. A station is already a prime spot to have a shop, and this news will no doubt only increase demand for a Grand Central location.
An Apple Store’s ability to attract customers is second to none, so if you’re a business looking to set up shop, the safest bet is to be next to an Apple Store!
