Steve Jobs Mentioned in State of the Union Address

President Obama mentioned late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs during his State of the Union speech last night, with Laurene Powell Jobs seated in the First Lady’s box as Obama’s personal guest (image credit: whitehouse.gov).

…we should support everyone who’s willing to work; and every risk-tasker and entrepreneur who aspires to become the next Steve Jobs.

Being mentioned in front of the entire nation as a powerful innovator and icon of business success is certainly a beautiful tribute, although I doubt we’ll see another entrepreneur quite like Steve Jobs in the near future.
