Now that the iPhone 4S has been jailbroken, there are plenty of cool jailbreak hacks to make Siri do cool, useful and interesting things. Once such hack is called SiriToggles, which lets you use Siri to open apps and toggle device settings.
The ability to launch apps and toggle device setting using Siri is something that many people have wished for from Apple’s intelligent assistant, and at long last it will soon be possible for users of jailbroken iPhone 4S units. AppAdvice reports:
Some of the example commands include speaking “launch” and then an app name to open any application, “set” and an adjustable option to change brightness and other preferences, and “turn on” / “turn off” or “enable” / “disable” to activate or deactivate Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and other services. Beyond settings and app launching, SiriToggles also understands status requests, such as “what’s my current battery level?”
SiriToggles is not yet available, but is expected to launch in the near future (within the next few weeks), and will bring an easy way to quickly turn WiFi, 3G, Bluetooth, brightness and more (or launch third-party apps) using only the sound of your voice!
We’ll let you know as soon as we hear that SiriToggles is available. In the meantime, check out the below video showing SiriToggles in action, and check out our tutorial for how to jailbreak your iPhone 4S using Windows or Mac so you’re ready when it arrives!
