There are tons of accessories being shown on the show floor at CES 2012. Many of these are designed specifically for iOS devices. 9to5Mac tells us about some of the more interesting accessories being unveiled for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch..
One multi-dock charging solution is the Syndee from Kanex (pictured right). It’s capable of charging up to four iOS devices at once through its built-in USB ports. Scheduled to ship by the end of the first quarter. There has been no official word on pricing, but SlashGear reported it will be $150.
Atlona displayed a product they described as “wireless HDMI”. One peripheral plugs into your iOS device through the HDMI out, while another plugs into your HDMI input on a TV or projector. Then you can send the device’s display to the big screen wirelessly with support for 1080p video. Atlona says latency is less than one millisecond. This will drop in the first quarter for $300. Demonstration video below.
Celluon’s Prodigy case with infrared keyboard: (pictured above) Celluon has released several different iterations of its infrared keyboards in the past, but this one builds it right into a battery pack-style iPhone case giving you a full-sized keyboard projected onto the nearest flat surface. Cult of Mac said it would go for $190 when it ships. But, 9to5Mac reports that unfortunately it doesn’t look like the technology itself has improved much over previous designs.
