Long lines are already forming outside Chinese Apple Stores before the launch of the iPhone 4S, Apple Insider reports. With the stores opening in just over 6 hours, it promises to be a huge scramble if you’re in China and waiting for an iPhone 4S.
China Unicom is currently the only provider in China offering the 4S, which they are not making available for preorder, even though you get it free with two and three year agreements.
China Telecom are also expected to be providing the iPhone in the near future. As these pictures show, the Chinese market is huge and Apple are a hugely popular brand, so the demand will be enormous, but Apple should be able to cope with it.
