Roku for iOS Hits the App Store

Apple products are great, but let’s face it: the Apple TV just isn’t for everybody. For those of you who use a Roku instead, which can access much more streaming content, you’ll be excited to note that Roku has now released an official iPhone remote app (free, App Store link) to create a merger between your two worlds.

Turn your iOS device into a control center for your Roku streaming player. Launch channels, use your phone as a remote and find new channels to watch.

Launch or rate any channel with a tap of your finger.
Use a simple touch and swipe based remote control. Includes instant replay, back and options buttons.
Easily browse hundreds of channels in the Roku Channel Store.
Quickly add and remove channels to/from your Roku player.
Control and switch between multiple Roku players.

Roku for iPhone is a free app, and works with all Roku boxes updated to the latest version of Roku’s software, and is available immediately from the App Store (free, App Store link).
