How To: Change Your Label Names
In this tip we will take a look at how to change the name of the labels so they make more sense than just red, blue, yellow etc.
All you need to do is be working in your finder. You can do this by clicking anywhere on your desktop background or by clicking the Finder icon located in your dock.
Then at the top of your screen in the menu bar click on Finder followed by Preferences.
When the window launches proceed to the Labels Tab. Here you will find all the colored labels available. Simply click in the text box and change the name. Upon closing this window your settings will automatically be saved.
Now you can go ahead with labelling files and folders into your own personalised color categories.
