In the early 90s, Apple started collecting many of its old documents, books, marketing materials, products, software and more in the hopes of eventually opening a company museum.
Those plans were eventually nixed in 1997 when Steve Jobs returned to Apple, but all was not lost – the entire archive was donated to Stanford’s Silicon Valley Archives, as we reported previously.
Among the many fascinating things found in the archive was this fantastic Ghostbusters parody video recorded by Apple in 1984 for their international sales meeting.
Entitled “Blue Busters,” the clip targets “Big Blue” – IBM, Apple’s most formidable rival at the time, and even reportedly featured live dancers on the stage when it was originally presented at Apple’s 1984 international sales meeting.
