Apple Releases ’12 Days of Christmas’ App, 12 Days of Free Content to Begin December 26

Apple has begun preparing for their annual “12 Days of Christmas” promo, and has released a new iOS app (free, App Store link) to help people take advantage of free content, deals, and more.

The official promotion will run from December 26th to January 6th, and each day in the promotion will feature various music, videos, apps, and books, which will be available for free for 24 hours.

As usual, there’s no word on exactly which content will be revealed, as Apple likes to keep it a surprise. The app will be updated daily showing that day’s respective free content.

You and your friends can download a fantastic selection of songs, music videos, apps and books for free. Each download will only be available for 24 hours. Get our special 12 Days of Christmas app to make it even easier to access your gifts while you’re on the go.

Don’t have an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch? Don’t worry. Come back 26 December to download gifts from your computer.

The app is available now as a free download (App Store link) in most regions, and is still being pushed through Apple’s servers, so it will be available in more areas soon (currently unavailable in the U.S.).
