Rumors surrounding Apple’s fabled television set have been anything but scarce recently, with notable analyst Gene Munster and others lending their claims to add fuel to the “iTV” fire.
A new report from Smarthouse takes the podium today, as the site reports that Apple will be offering its upcoming television in three separate sizes from 32 to 55 inches, and that the device will be powered by Apple’s forthcoming A6 chip, also expected to be seen in the iPhone 5 & iPad 3.
Smarthouse cites sources at a major Japanese manufacture reportedly involved in production of the device, who claim that the device will complete with other processor-packed televisions from Samsung and LG.
These rumors certainly sound exciting, however it’s important to note that Smarthouse doesn’t have a good track record at all when it comes to Apple rumors, however their claims of three different sizes do line up well so far, and the inclusion of some type of processor, whether it’s an A6 or something else, doesn’t seem too far fetched.
Nevertheless, I’ll be taking this with a heaping helping of salt, and I’d recommend that you do the same.
