Angry Birds celebrated its second birthday over the weekend by releasing version 2.0 of the popular game, featuring new menus and graphics, 15 new birthday-themed levels, and all previous episodes have been unlocked.
Angry Birds has spread like wildfire since its release two years ago, raking in millions upon millions of dollars, reaching over 500 million downloads, and becoming a worldwide phenomenon.
While less exciting than a new Angry Birds 2, the update does include plenty of goodies. All episodes are now unlocked in the game, the updated menus and graphics look great, and the 15 new birthday levels are both fun and creative. Rovio has also introduced a brand new orange bird in the update with an exciting new ability.
