ThinkGeek Launches iControlPad – A Physical Gamepad for the iPhone

After teasing about the product since 2008, ThinkGeek has finally released the long-awaited iControlPad – a physical gamepad for your iPhone so you can get the competitive advantage in all your favorite games.

The iControlPad communicates with the iPhone through Bluetooth, and contains two analog sticks, a directional pad, as well as a start button, a select button, and four standard action buttons – X, Y, A, and B.

Since the iControlPad is being released through ThinkGeek, who also distributes the iCade, the new game pad is supported by all of the games that work with the iCade cabinet. Unfortunately, there still aren’t a lot of games that can be used with the device, but a full list of compatible games is available here.

One unique feature of the iControlPad is that it can charge your phone while you’re playing with its built-in 1360mAh battery, which you can use to connect your device through USB. The iControlPad is available now for $74.99 – for more information, or to purchased, head on over to ThinkGeek.
