We reported last week that PBS would be airing a special Steve Jobs documentary tonight called “One Last Thing,” which will include interviews with notable people from Jobs’ life such as Steve Wozniak, Ronald Wayne, Walt Mossberg and others, including clips from a rare 1994 interview in which Jobs shares his views on life.
The documentary is intended to examine Jobs’ life by defining the influences that shaped the person he was and enabled him to have such a remarkable influence on the world. From PBS’s official description:
ONE LAST THING takes an unflinching look at Jobs’s difficult, controlling disposition, and offers unique insights into what made him tick. While there has been near-universal agreement that Steve Jobs was a great innovator in business and technology, ONE LAST THING looks into why he was so great. What were the influences that shaped his character? What drove him from such humble beginnings to the heights of success?
PBS has released two new clips promoting the show ahead of its premiere tonight, giving us a taste of what we can expect from the show when it airs later today. The first clip, shown below, has noted author (and friend of Steve Jobs) David Sheff describe a birthday party for Sean Lennon, son of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, in which Jobs presented Sean with one of the very first Macintosh computers ever produced:
