Exciting news for iPad 2 owners today, as Telltale Games has officially released Episode 1 of Jurassic Park: The Game ($6.99, App Store Link) exclusively for the iPad 2. The highly anticipated game will feature numerous episodes, which will be released at future dates.
EPISODE 1: THE INTRUDER
The story begins during the last half of the first Jurassic Park film, where the island’s security systems have failed and the dinosaurs now roam free. When Nedry fails to deliver the stolen dinosaur embryos, his contact Miles ventures into the dark jungle with Nima, a professional smuggler. Elsewhere, park veterinarian Gerry tours Jurassic Park with his daughter Jess in what he thinks is a safe area of the island.
The game is an iPad 2 exclusive mainly due to its heavy usage of high-end 3D graphics which aren’t handled well by the original iPad. The game is available now for $6.99 through the App Store ($6.99, App Store Link).
