The app (which we recently reviewed) also now includes full support for OS X Lion, including remote log-in, and relies on Google logins and the Google Talk protocol for authentication rather than its own service.
Launching a Mac app from an iPhone 4S is as simple as speaking the command “Launch,” and then saying the app’s name. The app also allows you to use the iPhone 4’s dictation functionality to input text on your Mac.
The app is also smart enough to tell the difference between a command and text you’d like dictated. For instance, if you say “Launch Safari,” it’ll launch the app rather than simply transcribing your voice into text, but speaking anything else will result in transcription.
Seriously cool stuff from the iTeleport guys – the update is free for previous owners, and is available for $19.99 from the App Store for those of you who haven’t tried it yet ($19.99, App Store Link).
