iPad, iPhone and iPod Top Kids’ Christmas Wishlists

Apple may not have total dominance in the technology market, but when it comes to supplying Christmas gifts, Apple reigns supreme. A recent Nielsen survey shows that the iPad, the iPhone and the iPod touch are the 3 most wanted gifts by children this Christmas.

The study, conducted in October with 3,000 U.S children, shows that the iPad was comfortably the first choice among 6-12 year old children, with 44% selecting it as their most wanted gift. Surprisingly, games consoles such as the Xbox 360 and PS3 only managed 16% and 17% respectively.

Consumers aged 13 and older also expressed a strong interest in the iPad, with 24% of teens eyeing the popular tablet this year.have their eyes set on the iPad this year.

Apple products should have plenty of demand this Christmas, as always, but it is very encouraging for them that their products greatly appeal the the younger generation as well.
