Infinity Blade 2 is due out on December 1st, and promises to deliver improved gameplay and incredible graphics, but just how awesome will it be? The Verge went hands-on with the upcoming app, and has shared some juicy tidbits with the rest of us.
Infinity Blade 2 will feature more levels, new weapons, a new combat system, and gorgeous revamped graphics. The new game will also include over 40 combat locations, compared to the 10 locations in the original version. Here’s what The Verge had to say:
No point burying the lede: Infinity Blade 2 for iOS is beautiful and a blast to play. Chair Entertainment and Epic have not radically altered the basic game mechanic or feel from the original game, but instead chosen to hone both to a sharp edge…If you’re a fan of the first Infinity Blade, you will want to pick up its sequel.
While Verge reports that the core gameplay hasn’t changed, one thing that has changed tremendously is the game’s graphics. The game features incredible new visuals, light that casts realistic shadows, and a greatly improved level of detail.
