Flipboard, Inc., the publisher of the popular newsreader of the same name, released an update for the app today. The update (version 1.53) contains bug fixes, and has more responsive flips and swipes, in addition to features from 1.52 which include new font sizes for articles, captions and comments, one tap Twitter sign on for iOS5 users, and a fix for the occasional issue of Flipboard using an abnormal amount of space on the iPad.
Flipboard was named Apple’s iPad App of the Year, and one of TIME’s top 50 innovations of 2010. The app is available now as a free update for existing users, or can be obtained for free through the App Store for new users (free, App Store Link).
