The iPad has proven it’s domination over the tablet industry time and time again, and comScore’s latest figures only add more fuel to the iPad’s fire, showing that the iPad accounts for 87.6% of global tablet web traffic – and 95.7% in the US!
Despite being heinously outnumbered by Android tablets and other competing devices, iPads seem to get a great deal more use by their owners, especially for browsing and enjoying web content.
It’s somewhat interesting that the U.S. numbers are significantly higher than the global figures – this likely reflects that the iPad is more popular in the U.S. than in other international markets.
With the iPad’s domination over its competitors still alive and well, it appears as though Apple is prepared for some pretty “magical” holiday sales numbers.
