Apple Issues Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 3.9
A few moments ago Apple issued Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 3.9, adding support for RAW images from a number of new cameras to Aperture and iPhoto. Weighing in at 7.2 MB, the update brings full compatibility for the following cameras to iPhoto ’11 and Aperture 3:

Nikon 1 J1
Nikon 1 V1
Nikon COOLPIX P7100
Olympus PEN E-PL1s
Olympus PEN E-PL3
Olympus PEN E-PM1
Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ150
Sony Alpha NEX-5N
Sony Alpha SLT-A65
Sony Alpha SLT-A77
The update requires Mac OS X 10.6.8 or 10.7.2 or later. Full details on RAW support can be found in this Apple support document.
