Following Apple’s recent iOS 5.0.1 update, which was meant to address battery life issues, many users continued to complain that the problems persisted, or even got worse. Apple has now issued a statement saying they’re still working on the issue.
Apple has officially issued the following statement to AllThingsD:
The recent iOS software update addressed many of the battery issues that some customers experienced on their iOS 5 devices,” the company said in a statement. “We continue to investigate a few remaining issues.
As Apple continues to look into this issue, it seems likely that their next update, 5.0.2, will probably be released sooner rather than later, although this has yet to be confirmed.
