Funeral services for Steve Jobs will be held later today as a small private gathering, reports The Wall Street Journal, following his passing on October 5th, 2011 at the age of 56. No public memorial service is planned to be held.
While no formal public memorial is being held for Steve Jobs, Apple will be holding a celebration of Steve Jobs’ life for all Apple employees, and admirers of Jobs’ have been leaving notes and tributes at Apple Retail Stores, Steve Jobs’ home, and Apple’s Cupertino, California headquarters.
Apple has also provided an email address (rememberingsteve@apple.com) for anyone interested to submit their thoughts, memories, or condolences about Steve Jobs.
