Apple may be preparing to release new models of their popular MacBook Pro line of laptops. 9to5Mac reports that supplies of all current models are nearly out of stock, and new models have already appeared in Apple’s inventory system for all sizes of the MacBook Pro.
The refresh is expected to be minor, however, and will likely only bring slightly faster processors and Bluetooth 4.0 technology to the MacBook Pro, while significantly updated new models will appear next year alongside Intel’s forthcoming Ivy Bridge processors.
New internal code names for the devices that have appeared in Apple’s inventory are K90IA (13 inch), K91A (15 inch), and K92A (17 inch). According to the report, the A in the codename signifies this refresh will be a relatively minor one.
