iOS Tip: Accessing Your Camera Roll With A Swipe

How To: Accessing Your Camera Roll With A Swipe

One of the new features to hit iOS 5 is the ability when in the camera app to swipe from left to right on the display, thereby presenting the last photograph in your camera roll. Keep swiping and you can view all your photographs.

Swipe from right to left and you will be returned to the camera app to take another photograph.

This process also works when in video recording mode but will not function when you are actually recording a video.

You can still tap on the camera roll box located in the bottom left hand corner as shown below:

If you do decide to simply swipe from left to right you will notice the following effect:

As you can see the camera will move across to the right and the image to the left, which is in your camera roll will start appearing.
