Apple has just announced at their iPhone media event that iOS 5 will be launching for all users on October 12th, alongside Apple’s new iCloud service. It will be a free download for all Apple devices newer than the iPhone 3G & 3rd Gen iPod touch.
iOS 5 will include a number of new features, including a new notification system, iMessage, and dozens more. More info on that later.
