Those who purchased Walter Isaacson’s new Steve Jobs biography through iBooks on monday may have found that the book was affected by some formatting issues, causing pictures to not load correctly or the text to not look quite right.
Apple has issued an updated version of the book, and has begun sending emails to customers that downloaded the flawed version instructing them to delete the book from their iDevices, and iTunes, log out of your iTunes Store account, log back in, and then re-download the book via the “purchased” section in the iBookstore.
These formatting issues caused the book to get unexpectedly low ratings on the iBookstore, with people complaining about the issues and demanding that Apple fix the problems. The issues only affected the english language edition of the book, and the updated copy appears to resolve the issues.
